The Threenager (Ages 2-3)

Toddlerhood from ages 2 to 3 is a dynamic period where parents experience both joys and challenges as they navigate their child's increasing independence emotional growth.

Parents often experience challenges in discipline and behavior management, leading to frustration and the need to employ consistent strategies. They're encouraging and supervising their toddler's physical activities and exploration as they become more coordinated and adventurous, and deal with changes in sleep patterns and routines, which can affect both the child and parents' well-being.

The "threenager" stage brings fierce independence, tantrums, and mood swings that test a parent's patience and consistency. Parents may feel challenged by their child's strong-willed nature and newfound verbal skills that often border on defiance.
